This rust-free Marauder two-door hardtop was originally built in 2005 in the first episode of the sixth season of the Wrecks To Riches reality TV show. It is designated as Super Muscle Car #8 built by Barry’s Speed Shop in Corona, California as verified by a custom tag attached to the firewall. The exterior has been restored and refinished to pay tribute to the Parnelli Jones legendary race-winning #15 1964 Mercury Marauder NASCAR stock car. The roof is metallic blue with a white #15 graphic. The main body is white over red with 410 H.P., Mercury Marauder, Parnelli Jones, and 15 graphics. A set of Intro wheels with blue centers is wrapped in staggered-size radial tires.
The front seat, rear trim, and door panels are upholstered with black vinyl. Features include a matte black roll bar, black carpeting, racing lap belts, a floor-mounted automatic shifter, manual windows, power steering, power brakes, and a Flaming River tilt steering column. The radio, heater, and rear seat have been deleted.
A 120-mph sweep speedometer and a set of AutoMeter gauges including readouts for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage are mounted in a black panel ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 46,163 miles but the true mileage is unknown.
Power is provided by a rebuilt 460ci Ford FE V8 engine backed by a C6 automatic transmission. Underhood features include power steering, power brakes, MSD ignition, Edelbrock aluminum heads, aluminized headers, blue Moroso aluminum valve covers with Hypercision Automotive logos, a K&N air filter, an aluminum radiator, March Performance billet aluminum accessory mounting brackets, and a chrome power steering pump.
