OVERVIEW
This 1933 Ford Model B flatbed truck was restored approximately 10 years ago and has been with the seller for six months. It is powered by an upgraded 1952 239ci Ford flathead V8 backed by a manual transmission. Features include an AM/FM/CD stereo, a spotlight, a custom oak wood flatbed, and a side-mounted spare tire. This Candy Apple Red Ford with black fenders and a brown vinyl interior is available now and comes with an additional wheel and tire and a clear Colorado title in the seller's name.
EXTERIOR - FEATURES
The body was refinished 10 years ago in Candy Apple Red with black fenders as part of a restoration. Features include a chrome front bumper, dual headlights with chrome buckets, fender-mounted marker lights, a body-colored grille shell and insert, a tilt-out windshield, a spotlight, a driver-side mirror, a custom oak wood flatbed with drop sides, rear mud flaps, and a single taillight.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of cream wire wheels with V8 center caps is wearing bias-ply tires at the front and Firestone truck tires at the rear.
INTERIOR - FEATURES
The bench seat is upholstered in brown vinyl. Interior features include Candy Apple Red sheet metal, a gray carpet floor mat, a floor-mounted manual transmission shifter and emergency brake, a Candy Apple Red steel dashboard, and an AM/FM/CD stereo mounted in a custom oak panel. Additional features include manual steering, brakes, and windows.
INTERIOR - GAUGES
A 90-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level and amperage are located in the center of the dashboard panel. The odometer reads 11,993 miles but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a 1952 239ci Ford flathead V8 backed by a manual transmission. Underhood features include a gray engine block and heads, a 12-volt wiring conversion with an alternator, an electric fan, an aftermarket oil pressure gauge, and a single-barrel carburetor with a chrome air cleaner. The seller notes that an oil change and fluids check was completed approximately six months ago.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This truck came factory-equipped with a solid I-beam front axle and a solid rear drive axle. Braking is provided by four-wheel mechanical drum brakes. Additional undercarriage photos can be seen in the carousel to the right.
