1964 CHEVROLET IMPALA SS

This 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS is powered by a period-correct 409ci V8 backed by a 4-speed manual transmission. Features include an Edelbrock dual 4-barrel intake, a factory tachometer, manual brakes, manual steering, and manual windows. The exterior is finished in Ermine White (paint code 936) and features chrome bumpers, quad headlights with shields, an aluminum grille, full-length body trim, and chrome mirror caps.  Additional features include a fuel door scratch guard, Impala SS emblems, custom pinstriping, and six taillights with reverse lights and blue dots. The selling dealer asserts that the vehicle is a true "SS," not a clone, and provides a comprehensive walk-around video that can be seen in the carousel to the right.

A set of chrome 14-inch Cragar SS wheels is wrapped in Cooper Cobra raised-white-letter radial tires.

The front bucket seats (trim code 879), rear seat, trim, and door panels are upholstered in red vinyl. Power is provided by a period-correct but not numbers-matching 409ci V8 and dual 4-barrel Edelbrock carburetors. The engine is backed by a 4-speed manual transmission. Underhood features include an air cleaner with a chrome lid, manual steering, manual brakes, and cast-iron exhaust manifolds.
