1989 Dodge Ramcharger

OVERVIEW

This four-wheel-drive 1989 Dodge Ramcharger Cabela’s Concept Vehicle was reportedly built for Richard Cabela and presented to him by Dodge truck advertising manager Michael G. Kelley. It comes equipped with newer weatherstripping, door seals, shocks, and more. Features include Cabela’s logos and nameplates, air conditioning, cruise control, a front push bar, a spare tire rack, and rear fog lights. Power features include the brakes, windows, steering, and locks. Power is provided by a fuel-injected 5.9-liter V8 engine backed by an automatic transmission and a two-speed transfer case. This refinished metallic brown and metallic bronze two-tone Ramcharger with a tan vinyl and brown cloth interior is available now and comes from the selling dealer with a one-off keychain, vehicle history documentation, the original title, a clean CARFAX report, and a clear Colorado title.

EXTERIOR - FEATURES

The exterior of this Ramcharger was repainted in the factory metallic brown and metallic bronze two years ago, according to the selling dealer. Color-keyed features include the bumpers, front push bar, grille, upper and lower side trim, body emblems, mirror caps and bases, door handles and locks, spare tire carrier, taillight housings, and tailgate trim. Additional features include front fog lights, a fender-mounted antenna, rear-facing fog lights, and a trailer hitch. Newer parts include the weatherstripping, windshield, and door seals.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of color-keyed turbine-style aluminum wheels with front manual locking Warn hubs is wrapped in radial tires.

INTERIOR - FEATURES

The front bucket seats and rear seat are upholstered with brown cloth. Features include tan trim and door panels, a newer tan headliner, a tan center console, tan carpeting with a floor-mounted transfer case shifter, factory air conditioning, cruise control, and a column-mounted automatic shifter. Additional features include a tan padded dashboard with simulated woodgrain accents, a glovebox-mounted Cabela’s Concept Vehicle plaque, roof-mounted fishing rod holders, and a digital AM/FM/CD Pioneer stereo. Power features include the brakes, windows, steering, and locks. The selling dealer notes that the air conditioning is working but is not blowing cold air.

INTERIOR - GAUGES

An 85-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and voltage are located in a simulated woodgrain panel ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 44K miles, which the selling dealer believes to be accurate. The last mileage figure entered on the CARFAX report in July of 2020 was 26K miles.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a fuel-injected 5.9L V8 engine backed by an automatic transmission and a two-speed transfer case. Underhood features include power steering and brakes, cruise control, and air conditioning.
