1963 CHEVROLET NOVA

This 1963 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova two-door hardtop has an upgraded drivetrain that centers around a rebuilt small-block 350ci V8 paired with a Turbo 350 3-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes an aluminum radiator, an MSD ignition system, and a transmission cooler along with interior appointments such as full gauges and custom lap belts. Finished in red over a matching vinyl interior, this first-generation Nova is now offered with uninstalled SS emblems and a clear New York title in the seller’s name.

Coming from the model’s second year of production, this custom Chevy II Nova has a two-door hardtop body that was repainted red within the last three years under prior ownership. The body panels including the quarters, trunk, and floors are noted to be in excellent condition per the seller, although there are some small bubbles in the paint upon closer inspection. Features include a cowl-induction hood, chrome rocker moldings, and a driver-side mirror.

Polished aluminum eight-hole wheels and tires with black sidewalls connect the car to the road.

The complementary red interior is configured with vinyl bucket seats at the front, a bench at the rear, matching lap belts, and bright trim including Nova badging on the face of the color-matched dash. Amenities include a push-button radio, a trunk mat, and a spare tire with a matching cover.

Information is presented through a factory 120-mph speedometer, a fuel gauge, and warning lights for other vehicle vitals. A column-mounted 11K-rpm AutoMeter tachometer has been added along with a bank of four auxiliary gauges mounted underneath the center of the dashboard. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 53K miles, although the actual mileage on the chassis is unknown.

The rebuilt 350ci V8 has been upgraded with an MSD ignition system and an aftermarket aluminum radiator. Power is transferred to the rear wheels through a Turbo 350 3-speed automatic transmission with a transmission cooler and a torque converter.
