1964 Ford Fairlane 500

This 1964 Ford Fairlane 500 Thunderbolt tribute is equipped with a 351ci V8 that has been bored and stroked into a 427ci engine and a top-loader 4-speed manual transmission. Features include a limited-slip differential, manual steering and brakes, fiberglass body parts, and a trunk-mounted fuel cell. This black Fairlane 500 with gold accents and a black vinyl interior is available now and comes from the selling dealer with a clear title.

The exterior has been finished in black with hand-painted logos and lettering. Features include a fiberglass tear-drop hood, front fenders, front and rear bumpers, and trunk lid. Additional features include quad headlights, full-length bodyside trim, and dual taillights.

The 15-inch aluminum Radir front wheels and the black steel rear wheels are wrapped in radial tires.

The front bench seat, rear seat, trim, and door panels are upholstered in black vinyl. Features include black carpeting, black carpeted floor mats with Fairlane logos, manual windows, a bank of auxiliary switches, a floor-mounted manual shifter, manual steering and brakes, and a black dashboard.

A 120-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level and coolant temperature are located ahead of the driver. An 8K-rpm Autometer tachometer is mounted to the top of the dashboard. A set of three Autometer gauges with readouts for the oil pressure, water temperature, and voltage are mounted under the dashboard. The odometer reads 7.8K miles but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.

Power is provided by a 351ci V8 that has been bored and stroked to displace 427ci and backed by a top-loader 4-speed manual transmission. Underhood features include manual steering and brakes, line lock, MSD ignition, aluminum valve covers with Ford Motorsport logos, an aluminum intake, a 4-barrel carburetor, a chrome air cleaner, an electric fan, and tube exhaust headers with electric cutouts. This Fairlane is equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid 9-inch, 31-spline Ford rear drive axle with 4.56:1 gearing and a limited-slip differential. Suspension upgrades include subframe connectors and traction bars.
