OVERVIEW
This rust-free 1972 Plymouth Duster has been with the seller for three years and is powered by a 340ci V8 backed by an automatic transmission. Features include headers, dual exhaust outlets, manual brakes, power steering, and an AM/FM/cassette radio. Finished in metallic light blue with a black vinyl interior, this Duster is available now and comes with a clear South Carolina title in the seller’s name.
EXTERIOR - FEATURES
The exterior has been refinished in metallic light blue with black "340" accent striping. Features include color-keyed bumpers, a gray grille with dual headlamps, color-keyed sport mirror caps, a manual remote driver-side mirror, dual taillights with integrated reverse lights, and a blacked-out taillight panel. Per the seller, the condition of the paint and the body is excellent and without notable imperfections.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of steel Chrysler Rallye wheels with gray center caps and stainless trim rings is wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires that measure 215/60R15 in the front and 255/60R15 in the rear.
INTERIOR - FEATURES
The front bucket seats, rear bench seat, rear trim, and door panels are upholstered in black vinyl. Features include metallic light blue interior sheet metal, black carpeting, manual windows, power steering, a column-mounted automatic shifter, manual brakes, a metallic light blue steel dashboard with a black top pad, an Alpine AM/FM/cassette stereo, and kick panel speakers. The seller states that the AM/FM/cassette player is not connected.
INTERIOR - GAUGES
A 120-mph speedometer; gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, and alternator; and warning lights for the oil pressure and brakes are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 21,583 miles, less than 100 of which were added under current ownership, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a 340ci V8 engine backed by an automatic transmission. The seller reports that the drivetrain is not numbers-matching. Underhood features include manual brakes, power steering, an orange closed-element air cleaner, chrome valve covers, an aluminum intake, a four-barrel Carter Thermoquad carburetor, and Hooker headers. An oil change was completed within the last 100 miles.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Duster is factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. A full-length dual-exhaust system exits at the rear and was added by the seller. Braking is provided by four-wheel manual drums. The original exhaust manifolds and shields will come with the vehicle. Additional photos of the undercarriage can be seen in the carousel to the right.

My mistake it’s T8 color which is “old man tan” lol Good idea on the color swap particularly since it’s not original drivetrain
Wonder why someone changed from its original Lemon Twist Y1 body color. That’s a darn good color and no earth tone or old man tan
