1937 FORD DELUXE

OVERVIEW

This 1937 Ford Deluxe street rod is powered by a 350ci V8 engine backed by a TH350 automatic transmission. Features include a Fatman chassis with a Mustang II front suspension; power steering, brakes, and windows; air conditioning; a Kenwood stereo; and shaved door handles. This orange Ford Deluxe with flame accents and a neutral leatherette interior is available now and comes from the selling dealer with a clear title.

EXTERIOR - FEATURES

The exterior is finished in orange with multi-color flame accents. Features include chrome bumpers, dual headlights with integrated turn signals, a body-color grille, a 4-piece hood with body-color side vents, dual electric windshield wipers, chrome mirror caps, shaved door handles with remote poppers, and dual teardrop taillights. The hood can be opened by twisting and lifting the hood ornament. An emergency manual door popper is located on the firewall. The selling dealer notes that the paint is showing its age and has chips in the front from being driven. Other visual imperfections are shown in the photo gallery to the right. EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of polished 15-inch front and 16-inch rear American Racing wheels is wrapped in Goodyear radial tires.

INTERIOR - FEATURES

The bucket front seats, matching rear seat, trim, and door panels are upholstered in neutral leatherette. Features include tan carpeting with tan carpeted floor mats, a floor-mounted automatic shifter, power windows, air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, a chrome Ididit tilt steering column, and a 3-spoke billet steering wheel. Additional features include a functional aftermarket Kenwood stereo with a CD player, electric windshield wipers, and a steel dashboard finished in matte tan.

INTERIOR - GAUGES

A set of white-faced gauges including a 120-mph speedometer and readouts for the fuel level, oil pressure, voltage, and water temperature is located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 25,052 miles but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a 350ci V8 engine backed by a TH350 automatic transmission. Underhood features include power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, aluminum valve covers, an aluminum intake with a 4-barrel carburetor, an HEI ignition, a chrome alternator, and an oval aluminum air cleaner. The battery has been relocated to the trunk.

UNDERCARRIAGE

The original chassis has been replaced with an aftermarket Fatman chassis with a Mustang II independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. Braking is provided by power front disc brakes and rear drums. The outlets of the full-length dual-exhaust system exit at the rear.
