OVERVIEW
This 1934 Ford 5-window coupe comes equipped with an upgraded 350ci small-block V8 paired with a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. It was inspired by custom street rods of the 1950s and 1960s and is an all-steel custom-build. For the last 15 years, it has been garage-kept under current ownership. Features include smoothie chrome wheels on whitewall tires, suicide doors, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Finished in Black Cherry Pearl over a gray cloth interior, this coupe is now offered by the selling dealer with a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
This 5-window coupe is all steel and reportedly originated as a complete car when it was customized under prior ownership in New Mexico. The exterior features newer Black Cherry Pearl paint, a pop-out windshield, rubberized running board steps, and suicide doors. Brightwork highlights the teardrop-shaped grille, headlight housings, window trim, and other areas. A photo in the carousel to the right shows select images of the car during the build process.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Chrome-finished smoothie wheels are wrapped in whitewall tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The interior is fitted a gray cloth bench seat. Amenities include a billet dash and a leather-wrapped steering wheel on a GM steering column.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A billet bezel houses instrumentation which includes a speedometer and other gauges. A tachometer is mounted to the steering column. The odometer reads 4,634 miles; the actual mileage on the chassis is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The upgraded small-block 350ci V8 was installed under current ownership and is housed in an engine bay equipped with roller rocker arms, a roller cam, chrome-finished air cleaner, and braided coolant hoses. Power is transferred rearward via a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive.
UNDERCARRIAGE
The front suspension was sourced from a Ford Mustang II. Stopping power comes from disc brakes at the front and drums in the rear. Additional photos showing the underside are available in the carousel.
