Vehicle Story

OVERVIEW

This two-owner 1990 Jaguar XJ6 Sovereign sedan is powered by a 4.0-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. It was purchased by the seller from its original owner and has been in Florida and North Carolina its entire life. Luxuries include woodgrain trim, power-adjustable seating, automatic climate control, and cruise control. Finished in metallic gray over a tan leather interior, this XJ6 is now offered with service records, a clean CARFAX report, and a clear North Carolina title in the seller’s name.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

This 1990 XJ6 Sovereign four-door luxury saloon wears a metallic gray exterior finish and comes equipped with fog lamps, a power-operated sunroof, wheel arch moldings, bright mirror caps and window trim, and a dual-exhaust system.

EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES

Chrome 15-inch wire wheels are wrapped in Michelin tires.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The passenger compartment is fitted with power-adjustable tan leather bucket seats in the front and a tan leather bench seat in the rear, matched to the door panels, lower dash, and center console. Other appointments include light brown carpeting, glossy woodgrain trim, and a black upper dash pad. Additional amenities include aluminum door sill kick plates, motorized shoulder belts, automatic climate control, an AM/FM/cassette radio, cruise control, and power windows.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

Instrumentation is framed within a woodgrain bezel and includes a 160-mph speedometer, 7K-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges showing the fuel level, voltage, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The digital odometer reads 74,664 miles; the last mileage entered on the CARFAX report in April of 2021 was 74,700 miles.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

The 4.0-liter inline-6 was rated at 223 horsepower and 278 lb-ft of torque when new. The power steering pump was replaced in February of 2021 and a maintenance inspection was performed a month later. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a console-shifted four-speed automatic transmission.

UNDERCARRIAGE

Stopping power comes from power-assisted anti-lock disc brakes.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

The CARFAX report shows a vehicle history that is free of accidents and damage, with the first record appearing in late 1991. The sale includes service records.

Bidder

Currently I am the high bidder and I’d like to verify that the wood grain is damaged by the shifter and there is damage on the front left fender.
