1982 Chevrolet Corvette

OVERVIEW

This 1982 Chevrolet Corvette has been with the original owner for 40 years and is powered by an upgraded Chevrolet 350ci V8 engine equipped with Tuned Port Injection and an automatic transmission. Features include air conditioning, power steering and brakes, power windows, a power driver's seat, a tilt and telescoping steering column, and T-tops. Refinished in Silver Blue Metallic over a slate leather interior, this final-year C3 Corvette is available now and comes with a clean CARFAX report and a clear Texas title in the seller’s name.  

EXTERIOR - FEATURES

The exterior was refinished 10 years ago in Silver Blue Metallic and features color-keyed urethane bumpers, pop-up quad headlights, black rocker moldings, color-keyed sport mirror housings with manual remote driver- and passenger-side mirrors, removable T-top panels, a power antenna, and quad taillights with integrated reverse lights.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of silver steel 15" x 8" Corvette Rallye wheels with stainless steel center caps and trim rings is wrapped in radial tires.

INTERIOR - FEATURES

The seats are upholstered in slate gray leather. Features include gray carpeting with gray carpeted floor mats, a power driver’s seat, a center console with power windows and an automatic transmission shifter, slate door panels with manual mirror remotes, a slate padded dashboard, and an AM/FM/cassette stereo. Additional features include a tilt and telescoping steering column with cruise control and a three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel, power steering and brakes, and air conditioning. The seller notes that the radio does not work.

INTERIOR - GAUGES

The primary instrumentation consists of an 85-mph speedometer and a 7K-rpm tachometer. Gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil temperature, oil pressure, and voltage are located in the center of the dashboard. The odometer reads 65,000 miles but the seller notes that the odometer has rolled over.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by an upgraded Chevrolet 350ci V8 engine that has been retrofitted with Tuned Port Injection and routes power to the rear end through an automatic transmission.

UNDERCARRIAGE

This Corvette was factory-equipped with a four-wheel independent suspension and a rear drive axle. Braking is provided by four-wheel power discs.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

The CARFAX report starts in March of 1983 and shows an accident-free history with ownership in Texas and Colorado. The last entered mileage was 62,068 in March of 2022. A potential odometer rollover was reported in September of 2009.
