This 1930 Ford Model A is finished in two-tone gray and tan with black running boards and is powered by a 350ci V8 paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission. The car was restored to a factory appearance but rides on a TCI chassis equipped with coil-over suspension and a Currie rear end. Additional equipment includes dual fuel tanks, a folding luggage rack, a roll-down rear window, and dual exhaust. Located in Tulare, California, this Model A is now offered on a clean California title in the seller’s name.
The Model A is was refinished during the restoration in a three-tone combination of gray with a tan roof and black fenders with running boards. The chrome trim throughout the exterior is in good condition and free of pitting, including the dual-bar front bumper, radiator, headlight housings, and dual side-view mirrors. Additional features include a folding luggage rack mounted at the rear, a power-retractable antenna, and factory louvered side hood panels.
Factory wire-spoke wheels are finished in red with chrome center caps and trim rings, mounted to Cooper Discoverer H/T tires on all four corners. The suspension has been upgraded with a multi-link rear setup and coil overs all around, while the steering was upgraded with a Vega steering box.
The interior has been fully reupholstered with a tan cloth bench seat with door panels in matching fabric and brown carpet. Lap belts were added for safety, and elastic door pockets are fitted to both doors. The dash is finished to match the exterior, with the lower half in green and the upper half in tan. The trunk houses a relocated fuel tank with a polished cap and a full-size spare tire
Instrumentation includes a centrally mounted gauge cluster consisting of a ribbon-style speedometer, a fuel gauge, and a voltage gauge surrounded by a chrome bezel. The five-digit odometer reads 7k miles, and true miles are unknown. The seller indicates that 1.5k miles have been added since the drivetrain was installed. Additional aftermarket gauges are mounted below the dash and include fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure readings.
The small-block Chevrolet 350ci V8 was installed during the restoration and equipped with chrome valve covers, fuel pump, and air cleaner. There are two gas tanks, including a 17-gallon in the trunk and the original 10-gallon in front, while the dual exhaust system features headers and high-flow performance mufflers. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and Currie rear end.
