OVERVIEW
This restored Colombian-market 1970 Ford Bronco 4x4 has been upgraded with interior furnishings from a 2021 Bronco. It draws power from a rebuilt 5.0-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case. Features include Maxxis tires, a custom exhaust system, an undercoated frame, and a wood-rimmed steering wheel. Finished in black with a removable hardtop over a black leather and microfiber interior, this first-generation Bronco is now offered with a clear Texas title in the seller’s name.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
This 1970 Bronco two-door sport utility vehicle originated in the Colombian market and was imported to the United States. Its restoration included a respray in black, color-matched to the removable hardtop and the running boards. The bumpers, badging, and dual side mirrors have a chrome finish. The exterior features a custom exhaust system as well as a Bronco tailgate decal. The photos in the gallery to the right show full-length gray striping on the passenger-side of the vehicle, but only gray striping on the driver-side door.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Steel wheels have been refinished in black and are wrapped in Maxxis Bighorn raised-white-letter tires installed in 2022.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
Select interior elements were sourced from a 2021 Ford Bronco for this vehicle and include black leather and microfiber front bucket and rear bench seats. In addition, the cabin is equipped with a locking center console and color-keyed materials for the door panels, carpeting, and microfiber headliner. Amenities include a wood-rimmed steering wheel and a carpeted cargo area.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Information is displayed via a 160-mph speedometer surrounded by gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 1,470 miles, which the seller states are indicative of the mileage accrued on the rebuild. The true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The rebuilt 5.0-liter inline-six received an oil change in July of 2022. Power is directed to all four wheels via a four-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case.
UNDERCARRIAGE
The suspension has been refurbished. The frame and underbody were coated with protectant as part of the restoration process.
