Vehicle Story

This 1932 Ford Coupe is finished in Cadillac Dark Green over a cream leather interior and is powered by a 350ci Chevrolet V8 paired with a 700R4 automatic transmission. The all-steel body is a Brookville reproduction, riding on a fully boxed Brookville chassis with front disc brakes and coil-over suspension. Features include a rear-mounted spare tire, fully upholstered trunk, air conditioning, and a stainless steel dual exhaust. Located in Dayton, Ohio, this Coupe is offered on a clean Ohio title in the seller’s name

The body is finished in Cadillac dark green metallic and equipped with full fenders and running boards as well as a side-opening hood. Professionally built from a 3-window Brookville steel body, the car features rear-hinged doors and a trunk. The front grille shell is finished to match the body, while the headlights, headlight mounting bracket, and front bumper are chrome. The rear is equipped with a chrome bumper as well as dual taillights, with a full-size spare tire mounted above.

Chrome wire wheels with chrome Ford "V8" center caps are mounted to Diamondback wide-whitewall tires on all four corners.  Wilwood disc brakes handle braking in the front with drums in the rear. The suspension utilizes a chrome front drop axle with a transverse leaf spring and chrome shocks in the front, while a multi-link setup with chrome link arms and coil-over shocks is used in the rear.

The interior is fitted with custom tan leather bucket seats that are power-adjustable. Tan carpet covers the floor, protected by matching floor mats with tan piping. A Flaming River tilt steering column was added along with a Banjo-style steering wheel with a wood rim. A Custom Autosound head unit is for the stereo is housed in the glove compartment; additional features include a cruise control system from Dakota Digital, air conditioning, and power windows.

Instrumentation includes gauges from Haneline that reside within an aluminum bezel with the machine turned finish.  The car has a 140-mph speedometer and gauge readouts for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The digital odometer shows 2.3k miles, which are the miles since completion of the build. 

Power is provided by a Chevrolet Fast Burn 350ci crate engine rated at 385 horsepower and is equipped with Street Performance headers and an Edelbrock intake manifold & carburetor. Chrome valve covers were installed along with a chrome air cleaner and accessories, while the accessory drive is billet aluminum. Power is sent to the rear wheels through TCI 700R4 automatic transmission and 9” Ford rear end.
