OVERVIEW

This restored 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1 is powered by a 351ci V8 backed by a Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission. Features include a shaker hood scoop, sport slats, a rear spoiler, power steering, Wilwood disc brakes, and a Rim Blow steering wheel. Refinished in Metallic Light Gray over a black vinyl interior, this Mustang Mach 1 is available now on consignment from the selling dealer and comes with restoration documentation, a Deluxe Marti Report, a copy of the original build invoice, and a clear title.

EXTERIOR - FEATURES

The exterior has been refinished in the original color of Metallic Light Gray. According to the Marti Report, this Mustang is one of 244 1970 Mach 1s made in this special color. Features include a front chin spoiler, chrome bumpers, black hood striping, a shaker hood scoop, Mach 1 lower cladding, sport slats, a rear spoiler, and black Mach 1 striping and a black-out panel at the rear.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of polished aluminum five-spoke American Racing wheels is wrapped in new Kelly tires.

INTERIOR - FEATURES

The front bucket seats, rear seats, trim, and door panels are upholstered in black vinyl. Features include black carpeting, manual windows, power steering, disc brakes, a black dashboard with a black top pad and simulated woodgrain accents, a center console with simulated woodgrain accents and an automatic transmission shifter, a three-spoke Rim Blow steering wheel, and an AM/FM stereo with an auxiliary port.

INTERIOR - GAUGES

A 120-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and alternator are mounted in a simulated woodgrain panel ahead of the driver. An aftermarket 8K-rpm tachometer is mounted to the steering column. A factory clock is mounted in a simulated woodgrain panel on the passenger side of the dashboard. The odometer reads 76K miles but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown. The seller notes that the clock does not work.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by 351ci V8 engine and backed by a Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission. Features include a blue engine block, valve covers, and air cleaner, which is connected to a shaker hood scoop. The seller notes that carburetor repairs were performed in the summer of 2022. UNDERCARRIAGE

This Mustang was factory-equipped with a competition suspension. Braking is provided by Wilwood disc brakes. Dual exhaust outlets exit at the rear.
