This 1933 Ford Cabriolet is finished in blue and black two-tone over a brown cloth interior and is powered by a 221ci flathead V8 paired with a 3-speed manual transmission. Acquired by the seller 4 years ago, a previous owner in Arizona restored the car before the car was relocated to Colorado. Equipment includes a rumble seat, aftermarket gauges, upgraded braking system, deluxe cowl lights, and a 12-volt electrical system. Located in Farmington, Utah, this Cabriolet is now offered for sale on a clean Utah title in the seller’s name.
The vehicle is finished in blue with black fenders and running boards, with silver pinstriping along the upper body line. A previous owner refinished the car, and a light tan cloth convertible top was installed at that time. The body is equipped with suicide doors and a factory Ford greyhound hood ornament affixed on the hood. The side hood panels are vented, while the car is also equipped with deluxe cowl lights and twin horns, front and rear bumperettes, electric wiper, cowl vent, and yellow fog lamps on chrome mounts. The cowl and rear lights have been wired to operate as turn signals. The glass and seals are in good condition.
Factory 17” 32-spoke wire wheels with V8 emblem hubcaps are finished in satin metallic silver and wrapped in 5.25/5.50-17 Firestone Deluxe Champion gum-dipped tires, with a matching rear-mounted spare. The braking has been converted from mechanical to hydraulic for improved stopping power and safety.
The interior is fitted with a bench seat upholstered in brown vinyl with matching door panels and tan carpet. The dash and door panel trim is made from wood, as is the interior windshield trim. A folding rear rumble seat is upholstered in brown vinyl to match the front. The car retains its factory 3-spoke steering wheel, floor-mounted shifter, and parking brake lever, while the motor unit and switch for the windshield wiper are located inside the cabin.
Instrumentation includes a 100mph speedometer and accompanying aftermarket oil pressure, fuel level, and coolant temperature gauges. The original gas gauge does not work. The five-digit odometer reads about 74k miles, which the seller believes is original to the car. Compression tests 80-90 on each cylinder, and the seller indicates that the car consistently runs at 160-170 degrees with good oil pressure.
The 221ci flathead V8 is original to the vehicle, and it is equipped with 21-stud aluminum heads and a single-barrel downdraft carburetor. The charging system has been updated from a 6-volt to a 12-volt system. Recent maintenance has been performed independently, and the most recent service was an oil change, fluid top-off, and chassis lube in May 2020. The gas tank had been replaced previously, and a recent compression test showed a range between 80-90 psi across all cylinders. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 3-speed manual transmission.

The sale includes a period-correct original 1933 Utah license plate, 1933 Ford sales brochure, instruction book, and other vintage material.
