OVERVIEW
This 1966 Chevrolet C10 is an older frame-off restoration powered by a 250ci inline six-cylinder engine backed by a three-speed manual transmission. Features include manual steering and brakes, manual windows, a wood bed floor, and a Stepside short bed. Refinished in Cardinal Red over a gray vinyl interior, this rust-free first-generation C10 is available now and comes from the selling dealer with a clear Wisconsin title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The exterior was refinished in 1995 in factory-correct Cardinal Red (code 514) as part of a body-off restoration completed the same year. Features include white bumpers, a chrome grille, dual side mirrors, and a short Stepside bed with a wood floor and stainless steel hardware.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of aluminum slotted wheels with chrome center caps is wrapped in Grand Am Radial G/T tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The bench seat is upholstered in gray vinyl. Features include an in-cab fuel tank, metallic silver sheet metal, black carpet, manual steering, manual brakes, black door panels with manual windows, a metallic silver steel dashboard with a radio block-off plate, and a column-mounted manual shifter.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 100-mph speedometer, a fuel gauge, and warning lights for the coolant temperature, generator, and oil pressure are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 64,958 miles but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a 250ci inline-six engine backed by a three-speed manual transmission. Underhood features include a factory heater, a radiator overflow tank, an alternator, a closed-element air filter, and cast iron intake and exhaust manifolds.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Chevy pickup was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. During the frame-off restoration, the chassis and suspension parts were refinished in matte black. A single exhaust outlet exits at the rear. Braking is provided by manual drums. Additional photos of the underbody can be seen in the carousel to the right.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
The selling dealer will charge a $99 documentation fee in addition to the selling price.
