OVERVIEW
This 1986 BMW 635CSi grand-touring luxury coupe is powered by a 3.4-liter M30 inline-6 paired with a 5-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. This 635CSi two-door coupe comes from the first generation of the grand-touring 6 Series and is painted black (089). INTERIOR – FEATURES
The cabin is trimmed with power-adjustable black leather bucket seats up front and a bench in the rear, matched to the dash, door panels, carpeting, and floor mats. Amenities include power windows, air conditioning, memory seats, an AM/FM/cassette radio, power door locks, cruise control, and a Whistler Spectrum radar detector.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation is presented by a 160-mph speedometer, a 7K-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, and instantaneous fuel economy. The mechanical odometer reads 127K miles, which is a true reading consistent with the CARFAX report.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The 3.4-liter M30 inline-6 was rated at 182 horsepower and 214 lb-ft of torque when new. It was serviced in August 2022 with an oil change and replacement of the spark plugs and wires. Power is fed to the rear wheels via a console-shifted 5-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The selling dealer notes that the nylon bushing on the shifter needs to be replaced.

I have sent the pictures to AutoHunter so hopefully they will be able to load them in time. .. Also, the previous owner had the car 20 years before me and put 5,000 miles on it in that period. Only services done in that time frame were annual oil changes. He had no records from before his ownership. I have put a new stainless exhaust on last month and there are 4 new tires going on this week. Total $3,000 in parts. We also replaced a valve in the braking system which was leaking fluid but not any longer. Thanks
