1967 DODGE DART

OVERVIEW

This 1967 Dodge Dart is powered by a 360ci V8 engine paired with a Demon four-barrel carburetor and a 904 three-speed automatic transmission. Features include power disc brakes, QA1 tubular upper front control arms, and new KYB shocks. Finished in yellow with a black vinyl roof over a black vinyl interior, this Dart comes with a new headliner, bows, and sound-damping material; an aftermarket owner’s manual; and a clear California title in the seller’s name.

EXTERIOR - FEATURES

The exterior was finished in yellow under previous ownership. Features include color-keyed front and rear bumpers, black grille and headlight trim, a black front chin spoiler, black mirror caps, hood scoops with black inserts, a black vinyl roof, and black striping at the rear. The seller states that there is some paint bubbling in the lower corner behind a front wheel, a six-inch long imperfection where a hood hinge meets the hood, and two marks in the paint on the hood.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of new U.S. Mags aluminum wheels with black centers and polished lips is wrapped in radial tires.

INTERIOR - FEATURES

The front bench seat, rear seat, rear trim, and door panels are covered in black vinyl. Features include exterior-color sheet metal, black carpet, manual windows, manual steering, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, and a column-mounted automatic shifter. The car does not have a headliner, but a new headliner, bows, and sound-damping material are included with the sale.

INTERIOR - GAUGES

A set of AutoMeter gauges, including a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, voltage, and other vehicle systems, is located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 250 miles but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a 360ci V8 engine equipped with a mild cam, a Demon four-barrel carburetor, and a 904 three-speed automatic transmission. Underhood features include black valve covers, an Edelbrock air cleaner, an aluminum radiator, and an Optima battery. Recent service includes an oil change and the installation of new spark plugs and wires in 2022. A cold-start video can be seen below.

UNDERCARRIAGE

This Dart was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. Upgrades include a Ford 8.8-inch rear end with Traction-LOK and 3.73:1 gears, a custom driveshaft, new front suspension hardware, QA1 tubular front upper control arms, and new front and rear KYB shocks.
