OVERVIEW
This 1929 Ford Model A Highboy roadster is powered by a 302ci V8 paired with a 3-speed automatic transmission. Finished in Red Metallic with blue flames over a two-tone burgundy and black vinyl interior, this Model A is now offered with a clear Michigan title in the seller’s name.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
This Highboy roadster has been repainted Red Metallic with blue flames on the side panels. The exterior has an open front clip displaying the engine bay, and attributes include a swing-out windshield, chrome headlight enclosures, a windshield visor, and dual taillights. The seller has included images showing specific blemishes on the exterior.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Chrome-finished five-spoke wheels are wrapped in staggered tires including Goodyear Polyglas raised-white-letter rubber out back.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The open-top interior is fitted with two-tone burgundy and black bucket seats up front and a matching two-seat bench in the rear. The door panels, carpeting, and lap belts are trimmed in black, and a wood-rimmed tilt-adjustable steering wheel has been added.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation is provided through aftermarket gauges with a central speedometer flanked by readouts for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. True mileage on the chassis is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The 302ci V8 has a chrome-finished air cleaner and is cooled by a chromed radiator shell with an electric fan. A rear-mounted fuel cell provides fuel delivery, and power is transferred to the rear wheels via a floor-shifted 3-speed automatic transmission.
