OVERVIEW
This 1994 Dodge Viper RT/10 roadster draws power from an 8.0-liter V10 backed by a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. It was California-owned for 27 years until being relocated to Michigan in 2021. Equipment includes a removable top with side curtains, 18-inch HRE wheels, and fog lamps. Finished in black with a matching canvas top over a gray leather interior, this first-generation Viper is now offered by the selling dealer with the car’s uninstalled original wheels, a car cover, a wheel cap removal tool, a service manual, an owner’s manual, spare parts, a clean CARFAX report, and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
This 1994 Viper RT/10 wears a black exterior finish and has a matching removable canvas top with zip-in side curtains. Additional features include fog lamps, rocker trim, roll hoops, and a high-mounted third brake lamp. The car’s factory-applied identification and data tags are present. According to the selling dealer, the paint has its original gloss, the top is free of rips and tears, and the body panels are undamaged.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Black three-piece 18-inch HRE wheels with polished lips are wrapped in 275/35 Michelin Pilot Sport Z-rated tires. The sale includes the car’s uninstalled factory 17-inch three-spoke wheels with 275/40 Michelin Pilot Sport tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The two-seat cockpit is fitted with gray bucket seats, a matching center console and door panels, and contrasting black carpeting and embroidered floor mats. Amenities include air conditioning, an AM/FM/cassette radio with six speakers, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation encompasses a white-faced 180-mph speedometer, a 7K-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, voltage, and oil pressure. The six-digit mechanical odometer reads 9,678 miles; the last mileage figure entered on the CARFAX report in December of 2021 was 9,875 miles.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The clamshell hood houses an 8.0-liter V10 that was factory-rated at 400 horsepower. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a console-shifted Tremec T-56 six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.
UNDERCARRIAGE
The suspension uses independent double A-arms, adjustable dampers, and anti-roll bars. Steering is power-assisted. Stopping power comes from ventilated disc brakes. Pictures in the photo carousel to the right show scuffs on the underside of the chin spoiler as well as shots of the vehicle’s tubular space-frame chassis and suspension hardware.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
The CARFAX report starts in October of 1994 and shows an accident- and damage-free vehicle history. The sale includes the car’s uninstalled original three-spoke wheels with Michelin tires, a snap-in tonneau cover, an owner’s manual, a car cover, a wheel cap removal tool, a service manual, and uninstalled spare parts. The selling dealer has provided a video below that shows a walk-around and the car starting up and idling.
