Vehicle Story

OVERVIEW

This 1955 Packard Patrician is powered by a 352ci Packard V8 engine backed by an automatic transmission. Features include air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, and a load-leveling torsion bar suspension. Finished in a light green and dark green two-tone over a dark green vinyl and cream cloth interior, this Packard sedan is available now and comes with a clear title.

EXTERIOR - FEATURES

The body is finished in a light green and dark green two-tone paint job. Features include chrome bumpers, a chrome grille, a fender-mounted antenna, dual side mirrors, full-length bodyside trim, accessory stainless door window vents, gold Packard emblems, and dual bumper-exit exhaust outlets. The seller notes that there is transportation damage to the vehicle, which can be seen in the photos in the gallery to the right.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of dark green steel wheels with full Packard hubcaps is wrapped in whitewall radial tires.

INTERIOR - FEATURES

The front and rear bench seats are upholstered in dark green vinyl and cream cloth. A pair of clear plastic seat covers has been installed. Features include power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, a column-mounted automatic shifter, and an AM radio.

INTERIOR - GAUGES

A 120-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and generator are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 22,826 miles but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a 352ci Packard V8 engine and backed by an automatic transmission. Underhood features include gold engine block and intake paint, black Packard-branded valve covers, vacuum-actuated windshield wipers, a windshield washer, a quick-release battery cable, and a batwing-style air cleaner.

UNDERCARRIAGE

This Packard was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle with an electrically adjusted Torsion-Level ride system. Power drums help bring the car to a stop.

Thank you for your consideration as I am in Oregon which is some distance away.

I don't see a problem with that but i need to verify with the estate executor for the actual date. We have been very flexible with buyers because most have been up north and the weather is already bad. Most pickups are already occurring in late January due to the holidays and i am on vacation for most of January.

Would it be possible to extend the storage time until early spring I realize there would be some extra costs.
