19k-Mile 2002 Chevrolet Corvette 6-Speed

This 2002 Chevrolet Corvette is finished in Torch Red over a black leather interior and is powered by a 5.7L LS1 V8 paired with a 6-speed manual transmission.  Having covered just over 19k miles since new, the car was originally sold in Nebraska until it was acquired by the second owner and relocated to Illinois in 2016.  Equipment includes a heads up display, polished aluminum wheels, sport bucket seats, Bose stereo system, and upgraded Borla exhaust.  Located in Burr Ridge, Illinois, this C5 Corvette is now offered by the selling dealer with a clean CARFAX report on a clean Illinois title.

Finished in Torch Red, the body features optional side moldings and a transparent lift-off roof. The front features pop-up headlights with parking lamps integrated into the bumper along with a chin spoiler. The rear bumper houses the signature 4 taillights while the factory exhaust has been upgraded to a Borla unit with polished quad tips. The CARFAX shows no accident or damage reports

Factory polished aluminum 17” five-spoke wheels are mounted to Goodyear 245/45 tires on all four corners.  The car is equipped with an active handling system that features dynamic rear brake proportioning, rear brake stability control, and traction control.  Brake calipers are finished in matching Torch Red with the white Corvette logo. 

The interior is equipped with 6-way adjustable power sport bucket seats upholstered in black leather. The carpet, door panels, dash, and center console are all also finished in black to match.  Optional factory equipment includes a heads up display, power tilt/telescoping wheel, bose stereo, and dual-zone air conditioning.  The center console houses the factory shifter for the 6-speed transmission along with the E-brake handle, dual cupholders, and the active handling system on/off button. Additional features include power windows, remote locking, and cruise control.

Instrumentation includes a 200-mph speedometer and 7.5k-rpm tachometer, along with gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level.  The digital odometer reads 19k miles, which are actual. 

The 5.7L LS1 V8 was factory rated at 350 horsepower and 375 ft/lbs of torque.  The most recent service includes an oil change done at 19,040 miles, while in 2017, at 17k miles, the brake, transmission, rear differential, and power steering fluids were all changed.  The engine is completely unmodified and retains all the original components; the exhaust has been upgraded with a cat-back Borla dual exhaust. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission.
