1947 CHEVROLET FLEETLINE

OVERVIEW

This 1947 Chevrolet Fleetline two-door restomod has been customized with frenched exterior lighting, shaved door handles, Centerline wheels, and a dual exhaust system. It is powered by an Edelbrock-carbureted 383ci stroker V8 mated to a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission and features power steering and power brakes. Finished in two-tone purple and yellow with accent flames over a tan vinyl interior, this Fleetline street rod is now offered by the selling dealer with a clear title.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

This Fleetline two-door was custom-painted in two-tone purple and yellow with flame accents and blue outlines. Exterior features include a vented hood, shaved door handles, a power antenna, dual side mirrors, frenched taillights, and a dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers. In the gallery to the right, the selling dealer has provided an image of the corrosion on the underside of the passenger-side door.

EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES

Polished aluminum Centerline wheels are wrapped in black-sidewall tires.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The cabin is equipped with tan vinyl bucket seats and a rear bench, matched to the center console, bowtie-branded custom dash, and carpeting. Features include cup holders, lap belts, an AM/FM/CD audio system, power windows, a custom steering wheel on a tilt column, and a carpeted cargo area in the back.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

Instrumentation includes a VDO 120-mph speedometer, a 7K-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The digital odometer reads 6,338 miles, although the true mileage on the chassis is unknown.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

The 383ci stroker V8 is fed by an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor and comes equipped with performance headers. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a console-shifted TH350 three-speed automatic transmission.

UNDERCARRIAGE
