OVERVIEW
This 1928 Dodge Victory Six four-door sedan restomod is the product of a reportedly $80,000 custom build and harnesses power from a later-model Mopar Performance 340ci V8 equipped with a B&M 174 supercharger, a Weber carburetor, COMP Cams camshafts, and Edelbrock mufflers. Power is fed rearward through a Torqueflite 999 three-speed automatic transmission and a Mopar rear end with Strange Engineering axles. Finished in metallic dark blue over a tan cloth interior, this Victory Six is now offered with receipts, build documentation, and a reconstructed title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The metallic dark blue body is complemented by a black canvas roof panel. Exterior treatment includes chrome brightwork, dual side mirrors, a windshield visor, rear suicide doors, a dual exhaust system, and a luggage rack with a wooden cargo box and retention straps.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Chrome five-spoke KMC Ice wheels are wrapped in staggered BFGoodrich Radial T/A raised-white-letter tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The two-bench cabin is trimmed with tan cloth upholstery, matched to the door panels and headliner. Woodgrain panels line the floor and the dash face has been refinished in metallic blue. Amenities include lap belts, tinted glass, and a modern Kenwood audio system.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
The VDO instrumentation includes a speedometer, a 7K-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 1,980 miles, reflecting the mileage put on the engine and the vehicle since the build process was completed.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The supercharged Mopar Performance 340ci V8 came from a donor 1973 Dodge Challenger and has been bored 0.040 over. Additional performance enhancements include ported and polished heads, COMP Cams camshafts, Eagle connecting rods, a DLI intake with a B&M 174 blower, a two-barrel Weber side-draft carburetor, and a Jet-Hot-coated exhaust system with Edelbrock mufflers. Power is sent to the 3.55-geared 8.75-inch Mopar rear end and Strange Engineering axles via a floor-shifted Torqueflite 999 three-speed automatic transmission with a shift kit.
UNDERCARRIAGE
Four-wheel disc brakes from Engineered Components, Inc. (ECI) provide stopping power. The chassis uses a TCI setup and Aldan American coilovers in the front and a four-link configuration in the rear. Additional photos showing the underside are available in the carousel to the right.
ADDITIONAL FEATURES
The sale includes receipts and other build documentation.
