NO RESERVE: 1969 CHEVROLET CORVETTE STINGRAY CONVERTIBLE

OVERVIEW

This 1969 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray convertible was put through a restoration process that included the body being repainted, a new top being installed, and the interior being replaced. It sends power from a Chevrolet Performance ZZ4 350ci V8 crate engine through a four-speed manual transmission to the rear Rally wheels and Mastercraft tires. Features include dual exhaust outlets, four-wheel disc brakes, an aftermarket AM/FM/cassette radio, power steering, and air conditioning. Refinished in red and equipped with a black convertible top over a black vinyl interior, this C3 Corvette is available now and comes from the selling dealer with a clear title.

EXTERIOR - FEATURES

As part of the restoration process, the body was repainted red and outfitted with a new black convertible top. It comes equipped with chrome bumpers, Stingray badging, front fender vents, a driver-side mirror, a plastic rear window, and new dual exhaust outlets. The selling dealer states there is a small pimple in the fiberglass on the nose under the paint, but that it is not noticeable in photos.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

This Stingray sits on a set of Rally wheels wrapped in Mastercraft Avenger G/T tires.

INTERIOR - FEATURES

The cockpit comes furnished with black vinyl bucket seats and color-matched surroundings. Other features include a three-spoke steering wheel connected to power steering, a tilt and telescoping steering column, air conditioning, manual windows, a chrome shift knob, and an aftermarket AM/FM/cassette radio. 

INTERIOR - GAUGES

A 160-mph speedometer and 7K-rpm tachometer are positioned behind the steering wheel. The center console houses the temperature, oil pressure, gas, and battery voltage gauges. The five-digit analog odometer shows 3,501 miles, but the actual mileage on the chassis is unknown.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

The ZZ4 350ci V8 crate motor from Chevrolet Performance sits inside the restored engine bay. The block, valve covers, and manifold are finished in silver and complemented with a polished air conditioning compressor and a chrome alternator. Power is delivered to the road through a four-speed manual gearbox.

UNDERCARRIAGE

The car’s undercarriage was stripped and painted satin black during the restoration. It features four-wheel independent suspension and manual disc brakes.
