OVERVIEW
This 1962 Chevrolet C10 pickup received a restoration and a restomod treatment that included shaved door handles, BFGoodrich tires, a custom dual-exhaust system, disc brakes, Sony audio, and a wood-lined cab interior. Power comes from a recently serviced 327ci V8 mated to a TH400 three-speed automatic transmission and a 12-bolt Positraction rear end. Finished in Dark Gray over a gray vinyl and cloth interior, this first-generation C/K-series C10 is now offered by the selling dealer with a clear Florida title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
This C10 stepside pickup was restored under prior ownership and was resprayed in Dark Gray. Reportedly originating in Florida, it has rust-free finishes and has been upgraded with exterior features including chrome bumpers, a reverse-tilt front clip, dual side mirrors, shaved door handles, a custom tailgate, and a dual-exhaust system. The cargo area is lined with replacement wood planks and stainless steel hardware.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Color-matched 15-inch steel wheels with smooth center caps are wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A raised-white-letter tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The cab is furnished with a gray vinyl and cloth bench seat, complemented by woodgrain trim for the door panels and a custom center console with dual cup holders. Equipment includes a Sony AM/FM/CD touchscreen audio system, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and power windows.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Replacement VDO instrumentation includes a 120-mph speedometer, a 7K-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, voltage, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The six-digit mechanical odometer reads just under 9K miles, indicative of the mileage added since the restoration was completed. The true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The 327ci V8 has been upgraded with performance headers and received a recent oil change. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a column-shifted TH400 three-speed automatic transmission.
UNDERCARRIAGE
Stopping power comes from disc brakes up front and drums in the rear. Additional photos showing the underside are available in the carousel to the right.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
This truck was previously sold on Auto Hunter but is being relisted after the buyer backed out of the transaction through no fault of the seller.

There is not heat or A/C , the center council is secure, the whole steel nose tilts therefore there are no wheel wells. Not a vehicle that you would take out in the rain, at least I wouldn’t. I could make a video of it running. It does run and sound very nice!

She's really pretty, but I don't see ANY hoses (I DO have bad eyes) to the firewall for either heat or A/C (I don't see an A/C compressor either). I do see vents on the dash. And is it my eyes or is either the console or the dash crooked? It almost looks like the console is just sitting there loose. Does the car have any type of climate control? Also the wheel wells are gone. Hard to keep the engine clean? Any issues (like misfiring) in the rain? I really am interested, would love to bid but it does look like there's a lot of work yet to be done that would have a big effect on value.
