OVERVIEW
This restored 1965 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu Super Sport was with the previous owner for more than 20 years and is equipped with a dual exhaust system, Keystone wheels, and a modern audio system. It is powered by a 350ci V8 paired with a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission. Finished in red over a black vinyl interior, this second-year Chevelle is now offered by the selling dealer with a clear Minnesota title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
This Chevelle Malibu SS was restored within the 20+ years it spent with the previous owner. Features include quad headlights, a driver-side mirror, chrome brightwork, SS rear quarter badging, and a dual exhaust system.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Keystone Raider 14-inch chrome wheels are wrapped in newer 215/70 Radial G/T tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The interior is outfitted with black vinyl bucket seats up front and a bench in the rear, matched to the door panels, dash, and carpeting. Amenities include a center console, a newer radio, and bowtie-branded rubber floor mats.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation is housed inside an aluminum bezel and includes a 120-mph speedometer, a clock, and auxiliary gauges that show the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. An under-dash gauge displays the coolant temperature. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 75,041 miles but the true mileage on this car is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The upgraded 350ci V8 is equipped with an HEI ignition system and long-tube headers. Power is sent to the back wheels via a floor-shifted TH350 three-speed automatic transmission and a 10-bolt rear axle.
