OVERVIEW
This 1977 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am has been with the seller for 25 years and sends power from its rebuilt 6.6-liter V8 through a three-speed automatic transmission to the rear 15-inch Rally II wheels. Features include a Firebird hood graphic, a shaker hood scoop, a rear spoiler, power windows, air conditioning, and dual exhaust outlets. Finished in white over a brick-red vinyl interior, this Trans Am is available now and comes with a clear Florida title in the seller's name.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The white exterior is accented with a black Firebird hood decal outlined in red and TRANS AM lettering on the front fenders and rear deck. Other features include a shaker hood scoop, a rear spoiler, and quad exhaust outlets. The seller states the car’s paint has some minor scratches and there is a hole in the passenger-side quarter panel where the radio antenna used to be.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
This Trans Am sits on a set of 15-inch Rally II alloy wheels wrapped in Uniroyal Tiger Paw GTS tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The Trans Am's cockpit comes equipped with brick-red vinyl seating, matching carpets, air conditioning, and power windows. The radio has been removed.
INTERIOR - GAUGES
The oil pressure and coolant temperature gauges are positioned between a 6K-rpm tachometer with an analog clock and a 100-mph speedometer. The fuel level and battery voltage gauges are on the dashboard. The five-digit analog odometer shows 83,778 miles, but the actual mileage on the chassis is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Under the shaker hood scoop sits a rebuilt 400ci V8. A three-speed automatic transmission delivers the engine’s output to the rear wheels.
