OVERVIEW

This 2015 Chevrolet Camaro SS 1LE coupe has accrued 20,509 miles since new and reportedly is the product of an $80,000+ build consisting of engine, transmission, suspension, and safety upgrades. Power is generated by a supercharged LSX376-B15 6.2-liter V8 crate engine coupled with a TH400 three-speed automatic transmission and channeled to the rear Weld Racing wheels and Mickey Thompson tires. Finished in black over a black leather interior, this custom fifth-generation Camaro is now offered by the selling dealer with a clean CARFAX report, two key fobs, and a clear title.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

This black Camaro SS coupe underwent a race-oriented performance build that reportedly cost more than $80,000. Features include a chin spoiler, fog lamps, a cowl-intake carbon fiber hood, carbon fiber mirror caps, a carbon fiber trunk lid, 1/LE fender badging, a rear spoiler, and quad exhaust outlets.

EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES

Forged aluminum 18-inch front and 17-inch rear Weld Racing wheels with polished lips are wrapped in Mickey Thompson tires. The front tires measure 28" x 6" and the beadlock rears measure 305/40.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The cockpit was upgraded with black leather Corbeau bucket seats up front matched to the door panels, dash, center console, and carpeting. There is no rear seat. Equipment includes a welded tubular roll cage, RJS Racing Equipment harnesses, a MyLink infotainment system, an M&M valve-body shifter, power windows, and floor mats.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

Instrumentation consists of a 180-mph speedometer, a 9K-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary factory gauges in the center stack for the oil temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and transmission temperature. An additional aftermarket readout from Innovate Motorsports is mounted on the steering column. The digital odometer reads 20,509 miles.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

The Chevrolet Performance LSX376-B15 6.2-liter V8 crate engine was outfitted with a ProCharger F-1A supercharger kit. Equipment upgrades include forged aluminum pistons, forged connecting rods, a hydraulic roller camshaft, an air-to-air intercooler, custom intake tubing, a billet intake manifold, and a DeWitts aluminum radiator. The exhaust system is a custom three-inch setup with stainless steel headers, two primaries, and Magnaflow mufflers. The motor is fed via Frankenstein fuel rails and tuned to run on 93-octane gasoline and race on E85. Output is estimated to be 1,000 horsepower at the crankshaft and 800 at the wheels. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a Coan Racing TH400 three-speed automatic transmission with a trans brake.

UNDERCARRIAGE

The suspension uses a GForce Engineering nine-inch independent rear, a heavy-duty front, upgraded bushings, one-piece CNC-machined outer hubs, a BMR Suspension drag race suspension package, a BMR Suspension Xtreme Anti-roll Kit, Strange Engineering double-adjustable rear coilovers, and Pedders USA single-adjustable front coilovers.
