OVERVIEW

This Canadian-market 1969 GMC 910 Camper Special is a frame-off restoration powered by a 396ci V8 engine backed by an upgraded 700R4 four-speed automatic overdrive transmission. Features include power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, an oak bed floor, an AM/FM radio, dual fuel tanks, and a heavy-duty suspension. Refinished in red and white over a red vinyl interior, this GMC truck is available now and comes with a copy of the Protect-O-Plate and the Owner Protection plan, a breakdown of the Regular Production Option (RPO) codes, a dealer brochure, and a clear title.

EXTERIOR - FEATURES

During the restoration process, the body was refinished in red and white. Features include chrome bumpers, a chrome and black GMC grille, GMC hood lettering, dual folding side mirrors, Custom Camper emblems, rocker panel and wheel opening moldings, an oak wood bed floor with stainless strips, a passenger-side rear toolbox door, dual fuel tanks, and rear tailgate accent trim and lettering.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of six-lug Chevrolet truck Rally wheels with chrome center spinner caps and stainless trim rings is wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.

INTERIOR - FEATURES

A pair of buddy bucket seats are upholstered in red vinyl and divided by a center console with dual cup holders. Features include manual windows, power steering and brakes, a column-mounted automatic shifter, air conditioning, and an AM/FM stereo.

INTERIOR - GAUGES

A 100-mph speedometer, a 5K-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, battery voltage, coolant temperature, and oil pressure are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 10,244 miles but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a 396ci V8 engine and backed by an upgraded 700R4 four-speed automatic overdrive transmission. Underhood features include an orange engine block, heads, intake, and valve covers; a four-barrel carburetor; a chrome air cleaner; and a body-colored firewall.  

UNDERCARRIAGE

This truck was factory-equipped with heavy-duty front and rear springs. Braking is provided by power front discs and rear drums. A full-length dual exhaust system exits at the rear. Additional photos of the undercarriage can be seen in the carousel to the right.
