OVERVIEW
This 1955 Oldsmobile 88 Holiday Coupe has been customized with shaved door handles, a frenched antenna, and Cragar wheels. Powered is generated by a 403ci V8 mated to an automatic transmission. Interior upgrades include power windows, air conditioning, and Classic Instruments gauges. Finished in Turquoise over a two-tone white and turquoise vinyl interior, this Oldsmobile is offered by the selling dealer with a clear title.
EXTERIOR - FEATURES
The Turquoise exterior features shaved door handles, a frenched-in antenna, chrome brightwork, and a dual exhaust system. The selling dealer notes that the paint shows some imperfections upon closer inspection.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Polished aluminum Cragar five-spoke wheels with blackwall tires have been added.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The interior is fitted with white vinyl bucket seats with turquoise piping up front, a matching bench in the rear, and the same material carried through to the door panels. The footwells are covered in dark teal carpeting with matching floor mats. Amenities include a center console, power windows, a remote-controlled Pioneer AM/FM/CD radio, air conditioning, electric windshield wipers, a tilt column, and a battery shut-off switch.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
The set of Classic Instruments gauges includes a central 120-mph speedometer surrounded by gauges for the voltage, coolant temperature, fuel level, and oil pressure. The six-digit mechanical odometer reads 44,655 miles but the actual mileage on the car is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The 403ci V8 is cooled by dual auxiliary fans. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a column-shifted automatic transmission.
UNDERCARRIAGE
