The odometer reads 87,493 miles but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown. According to the selling dealer, the sending unit for the fuel gauge is not working and needs to be replaced.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a 312ci Ford Y-block V8 engine backed by an automatic transmission. Underhood features include a correct air cleaner with a chrome lid, finned cast aluminum valve covers, cast iron exhaust manifolds, and a quick-release battery cable. The oil pump has been replaced.

UNDERCARRIAGE

This Thunderbird was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. Braking is provided by four-wheel manual drums. The idler arms have been replaced.
