Vehicle Story

This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro restomod has been with the seller for 5 years. Power is provided by a rebuilt 396ci Chevrolet V8 engine backed by a rebuilt TH350 automatic transmission with a Gear Vendors overdrive unit. Features include Detroit Speed control arms and suspension, a Chris Alston's Chassisworks rear sub-frame and suspension, Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes, a custom stereo system with JL speakers and subwoofers, a mini-tubbed rear end, and Boyd Coddington wheels. This refinished orange first-year Camaro with a black vinyl interior is available now and comes with a clear California title in the seller’s name.

The body of this 1967 Camaro was refinished in orange in 2017. Features include dual headlights, a black grille, SS emblems, chrome bumpers, a cowl hood, chrome mirror caps, rocker trim, a rear spoiler, and dual taillights with integrated reverse lights.

Boyd Coddington 18"x9" front and 18"x13" rear wheels are wrapped in staggered-size Toyo radial tires, which were installed in December of 2020.

The front bucket seats, rear seat, trim, and door panels are upholstered with black vinyl. Features include a center console with an automatic shifter, black carpet with black carpeted floor mats, manual windows, a matte black steel dashboard with a black vinyl top pad, and a 3-spoke billet steering wheel. A custom audio system with JL speakers and subwoofers has been installed.

A 160-mph AutoMeter speedometer and gauges for the fuel level, oil pressure, coolant, and voltage are mounted in a custom matte black panel ahead of the driver, and an aftermarket 8K-rpm tachometer is located on the hood. The odometer shows 17,852 miles but true mileage on the chassis is unknown.

Power is provided by a 396ci V8 engine backed by a TH350 automatic transmission with a Gear Vendors overdrive unit. The engine and overdrive unit was rebuilt in 2021 and the gearbox was rebuilt in 2020.

The original independent front suspension and rear drive axle have been upgraded with the installation of Detroit Speed front control arms and suspension along with a Chris Alston's Chassisworks rear subframe and suspension. The rear drive axle was rebuilt in August of 2019 and has been upgraded to a Fab9 housing with 3-inch tubes and 4:11 gearing. The rear of the body has been modified with mini tubs installed to fit the 18"x13" Boyd Coddington wheels and Toyo tires. The custom full-length dual exhaust exits at the rear. Braking power is provided by a disc-brake Wilwood Big Brake Kit with 6-piston front and 4-piston rear calipers.
