This 1977 Chevrolet G10 Nomad Van is finished in two-tone white and blue with a tan vinyl interior and is powered by a 400ci V8 paired with a 3-speed automatic transmission. Equipped with the one-year-only Nomad trim package, equipment includes swiveling front bucket seats, power disc brakes, and upgraded cargo area appointments. Located in Cave Creek, Arizona, this G10 is now offered on a clean Arizona title in the seller’s name.
The van wears its original color scheme of two-tone white and blue, with the white upper portions having been professionally refinished, while the lower blue paint is original. The van is configured with the Nomad package (option code ZM4) exclusive to the 1977 model year and included a chrome grille, brightwork around the windshield, front and rear bumpers, and Nomad nameplates on the front fenders and the rear door. The factory glass is all complete and free of pitting or cracks.
Factory 15” steel wheels with chrome trim rings and chrome hubcaps are mounted to new 205/75 whitewall tires on all four corners. The van is equipped with front power disc brakes with recently replaced brake pads.
The interior is fitted with tan vinyl bucket seats and wood paneling on the floor. The door panels and dashboard are matching in tan and accented with woodgrain trim. The wood floor has been replaced, and the front and second-row bucket have a swivel capability. Curtains are equipped to cover the rear and side windows. The van is factory-equipped with air conditioning, but it is not currently functional. The interior also has rear compartment cargo tie-downs, coat hooks, and a parchment vinyl headliner.
The two-spoke black steering wheel frames the instrumentation, which includes a 100-mph speedometer along with accompanying gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, voltage, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer reads 88k miles.
Power is provided by a 400ci V8 that is original to the vehicle. It runs well when warmed up but the carburetor could use a tune-up, per the seller. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 3-speed automatic transmission and column-mounted shift lever.
The underside of the fan was sprayed with protective undercoating when new. Additional photos showing the underside are available in the gallery.
The sale includes original sales literature from 1977 and Chilton’s repair manual.
