A 10K-rpm Autometer tachometer is mounted to the top of the dashboard, and aftermarket gauges for the oil pressure and coolant temperature are mounted under the dashboard. The odometer reads 29,749 miles but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a 355ci Chevrolet V8 engine, built by Bruce Stetson, making a reported 435-hp, backed by a built 700R4 automatic transmission. Underhood features include aluminum valve covers with a Chevrolet logo, an aluminum intake, a dual-feed four-barrel 750cfm carburetor, a black open element air cleaner, an MSD electronic ignition, and tube exhaust headers.

UNDERCARRIAGE

This Nova was originally equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid 10-bolt rear drive axle. Braking is provided by power front discs and rear drums.
