This 1969 Dodge Dart GT convertible is finished in red with a white soft-stop over a black vinyl interior. Powered by a rebuilt 318ci V8 engine, power is sent to the rear wheels through a 904 3-speed automatic transmission. Recent service work includes a new fuel pump and lines, a new exhaust manifold, and new seals. Options include a Music Master AM radio, fender-mounted turn indicators, and body sill moldings. Located in Kelowna, British Colombia, this Dart GT is now offered by the selling dealer with the original Chrysler Certicard, maintenance records, a service manual, and sold on a clear British Colombia registration.
Originally finished in Bright Blue metallic from the factory, the car was refinished in Viper red. It's equipped with a power-operated white convertible top with a plastic back window and new latches. Additionally, new parking light lenses were installed, the bumpers were re-chromed, and a passenger-side mirror was installed. Turn signal indicators are mounted on top of the fenders, integrated into the chrome spear moldings running the car's full length. Additional brightwork includes lower rocker moldings, tail panel trim, polished gas cap, and wheel well trim.
Chrome 14” 5-spoke Cragar SS wheels are wrapped in BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires measuring 205/70 on the front and 215/70 on the rear. Rebuilt 4-wheel drums handle braking.
The original blue interior was replaced with black vinyl bucket seats with matching door panels, carpets, and dash. New foam and upholstery were added during the recent restoration, as well as new armrest bases. The dash houses the factory AM-radio and heater controls, while the door panels feature chrome window cranks and brushed "Dart GT" badging.
A black Grant steering wheel with chrome spokes fronts a horizontal gauge cluster, including a 120-mph speedometer, as well as readouts for fuel level, engine temperature, voltage and oil pressure. The 5-digit odometer currently reads 17K miles; true mileage is unknown.
The original 273ci V8 has been removed, and the car was upgraded with a recently rebuilt 318ci V8 equipped with 625cfm Edlebrock Carburetor. Recent maintenance includes new engine mounts, as well as a new fuel pump and fuel lines. Power transferred through a 904 3-speed automatic transmission to a 3.23 Sure Grip rear end. A rebuilt radiator and power steering pump have also been installed.
Included in the sale are all maintenance records and receipts, a shop repair manual, and the original Chrysler Certicard
