1970 FORD MUSTANG SHELBY GT350 REPLICA

OVERVIEW

This 1970 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350-style convertible has been upgraded with Shelby equipment for the hood, wheels, aero treatment, and badging. It receives power from a 351ci V8 with performance headers and a dual exhaust system, transferring it to the rear end via an automatic transmission. Features include power steering and drum brakes. Finished in blue with black and white striping and equipped with a black power top over a black vinyl interior, this first-generation Mustang is now offered by the selling dealer with a clear title.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

The blue exterior is complemented by black and white accent striping and a black power-retractable cloth top. Features include a chin spoiler, a Shelby-style hood, chrome brightwork, color-keyed sport mirror caps, side air intakes, a roll bar, a rear spoiler, Shelby badging, and dual center-exit exhaust outlets.

EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES

Polished aluminum Shelby-style five-spoke wheels are wrapped in Goodyear Eagle GT II raised-white-letter tires.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The cockpit is fitted with black vinyl bucket seats up front, a bench in the rear, and matching materials for the door panels, dash, and carpeting. Features include lap belts, a center console, simulated woodgrain trim, and a radio.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

Instrumentation includes a 120-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level and coolant temperature. Aftermarket gauges are mounted at the top of the center console. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 31,885 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

The 351ci Ram Air V8 is equipped with a four-barrel carburetor, performance headers, and a custom exhaust system. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a console-shifted automatic transmission.  

UNDERCARRIAGE

Steering is power-assisted. Stopping power comes from drum brakes.
