EXTERIOR - FEATURES
The exterior is finished in the original color of Lemonwood Yellow (paint code Y) as verified by the trim tag. Features include chrome bumpers, a black grille with chrome trim and an SS 427 emblem, wheel well and rocker trim, a fiberglass cowl-induction hood, dual mirrors, and Super Sport emblems.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of 15-inch Weld Racing Draglite wheels is wrapped in 165/80 Nexen front and 275/60 Dayton rear radial tires.
INTERIOR - FEATURES
The front bucket seats, the rear seat, trim, and door panels are upholstered in black vinyl. Features include a floor-mounted manual transmission shifter, air conditioning, manual steering and brakes, manual windows, and an aftermarket digital AM/FM stereo. The seller notes there are cracks in the package tray.
INTERIOR - GAUGES
A 120-mph speedometer and a fuel gauge are mounted ahead of the driver. A set of three gauges for the oil pressure, coolant temperature, and voltage are mounted under the dashboard. The odometer reads 86,000 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a 427ci big-block V8 backed by a new Auto Gear Equipment M23 four-speed manual transmission with a new clutch. The seller has added a serpentine belt system, a new air conditioning compressor, new pulleys, an 8-rib belt, and black powder-coated valve covers within their year and a half of ownership. Additional underhood features include a body-color firewall, aluminum valve covers, a Brodix aluminum intake, a Pro Systems Racing four-barrel carburetor, an HEI distributor, headers, and an aluminum radiator. According to the seller, the engine is from a 1968 Chevrolet Corvette and recently received an oil change.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Chevelle was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle.
