1968 FORD MUSTANG

OVERVIEW

This 1968 Ford Mustang is powered by a new 302ci V8 crate engine backed by a Tremec five-speed manual transmission. Features include new four-wheel power disc brakes, power steering, a Kenwood AM/FM/CD stereo, GT500E styling, and fog lights. Finished in blue with black striping over a black vinyl interior, this Mustang is available now and comes from the selling dealer on consignment with a lien and title information report.

EXTERIOR - FEATURES

The exterior has been refinished in blue with black accent stripes and features GT500E-style components, including the front bumper-delete valance, grille surround, headlight doors, hood, side scoops, side-exit exhaust outlets, wheel well flares, trunk lid, quarter end caps, and taillight panel. Additional features include grille-mounted fog lights, billet aluminum grille inserts, hood pins, dual mirrors, matte black trim, Shelby Cobra-style taillights, and a body-colored rear bumper. EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of 16-inch Halibrand-style wheels is wrapped in Sumic radial tires.

INTERIOR - FEATURES

The front bucket seats, rear seat, trim, and door panels are upholstered in new black vinyl. Features include a floor-mounted Hurst manual shifter, power steering, power brakes, manual windows, and a Kenwood AM/FM/CD stereo. According to the selling dealer, nearly all the interior components are new including the door panels, door handles, window cranks, sill plates, headliner, and carpeting.

INTERIOR - GAUGES

A 120-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level, voltage, oil pressure, and coolant temperature are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 72,246 miles, but the true mileage is unknown. The speedometer cable was replaced in September 2022.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a new 302ci V8 crate engine and backed by a Tremec five-speed manual transmission. Underhood features include finned aluminum valve covers, an aluminum intake, a Holley four-barrel carburetor, and a finned aluminum oval air cleaner. Additional features include a chrome alternator, a serpentine belt engine accessory drive system, an aluminum radiator, an electric fan, and a windshield washer.

UNDERCARRIAGE

This Mustang is equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. According to the selling dealer, the front coil springs, front sway bar, multi-leaf rear springs, and fuel tank are new. The parking brake was adjusted in September 2022. Braking is provided by new power four-wheel discs.
