This 1970 Mercury Cougar convertible is finished in Medium Lime Green with a white soft-top over a green vinyl interior. Equipped with a 302ci V8, power is sent to the rear wheels through a 3-speed automatic transmission. Features include dual exhaust, power steering, hideaway headlights, and sequential taillights. Now offered by the selling dealer, this Cougar convertible carries a clean Florida title.
Finished in its original Medium Lime metallic green, the body retains all its factory sheet metal is accented by a white convertible soft-top. Exterior features include hideaway headlights, sequential tail lights, and center hood extension. Brightwork includes chrome bumpers front and rear, chrome windshield trim, and polished headlight trim, all of which are in good condition with no pitting or peeling.
Chrome Cragar SS mag wheels are wrapped in black radial tires all around, while the factory wire wheel covers are included in the sale. Braking is handled by drum brakes on all four corners.
The interior features high-back bucket seats upholstered in green vinyl with a matching bench in the rear. Matching green door panels, dash pad, and carpet are equipped as well. Features include an AM/FM radio, wood grain trim, and a floor-mounted polished T-handle shifter for the automatic transmission.
Behind the factory steering-wheel sits factory instrumentation, including a 120-mph speedometer, gauges for fuel level and water temperature, and an analog clock. 36K miles are shown on the odometer, though true mileage is unknown.
The factory 351ci V8 Windsor engine has been replaced with a 302ci V8 and is backed by a 3-Speed automatic transmission. The block, heads, valve covers, and snorkel air cleaner are finished in blue while the rest of the ending bay is matte black.

Yeah chuck I'd like to see this answered as well. Somebody made a big mistake and has de-valued this car. Sure looked good till I saw that engine change
