21k-Mile 1990 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible

This 21k-mile 1990 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is powered by a 5.7-liter V8 mated with a 4-speed automatic transmission. It is finished in Flame Red with a black retractable cloth top over a black leather interior. The car spent 26 years in Tennessee until being relocated to Florida in 2016, and now resides in Alabama.  Equipment includes power seats, digital automatic climate control, a modern audio system, and an onboard trip computer. This C4 Corvette is offered with a clean CARFAX report on an Alabama title. 

The body is finished Flame Red (Code 81) and features a black retractable soft top with black body side moldings, door handles, and other trim.  The fiberglass body panels are in good condition and the car has signature C4 pop-up headlamps up front and quad exhaust outlets at the rear. 

Factory 17” machined aluminum wheels have Corvette center caps and are mounted to 275/40 tires on all four corners.  The car is equipped with four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes. 

The interior is fitted with black carpeting and bolstered black leather bucket seats with a matching center console.  The seats are power-operated, and they show some age-related wrinkles and wear.  Aftermarket floor mats are fitted in the footwells, and digital automatic climate control with air conditioning is equipped.  The factory audio head unit was replaced with an aftermarket Sony AM/FM/CD stereo, but the factory Bose speakers were retained. Additional options include power windows and door locks. 

Instrumentation is framed by a 4-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel and includes a digital speedometer along with a 6k-rpm tachometer and supporting gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, and coolant temperature.  A factory onboard trip computer is housed in the dash, which provides data about MPG, range, and a trip meter.  The digital odometer reads just under 21k miles, which are original to the vehicle. 

The 5.7-liter V8 is original to the vehicle and was factory rated at 250 hp and 345 lb-ft of torque.  The CARFAX report shows an oil and filter change, along with a tire rotation in December 2019.  Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 4-speed automatic transmission with a console-mounted shift lever.

The CARFAX report shows no accidents or damage on record.  The car has an open recall dating back to 1991 related to the seat belt system. The original owners manual and some factory literature are included in the sale
