OVERVIEW
This 1980 Chevrolet Corvette is powered by an L48 350ci V8 backed by a four-speed manual transmission. Features include power steering, power brakes, power windows and locks, a tilt and telescoping steering column, air conditioning, and removable roof panels. Finished in Red over an Oyster leather interior, this C3 Corvette is available now and comes from the selling dealer with:
- Original owner's manual, maintenance schedule, warranty booklet, and registration documents
- Recent service records
- A clear title
EXTERIOR - FEATURES
According to the selling dealer, the nose was repaired and repainted, but the exterior still wears 90 percent of the factory-applied Red paint. Features include color-keyed urethane bumpers, pop-up headlights, dual color-keyed mirror housings, color-keyed removable roof panels, black trim, and a power antenna.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of 15-inch Corvette wheels is wrapped in newer 255/60 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.
INTERIOR - FEATURES
The two-seat cabin comes furnished with the original Oyster leather upholstery, according to the selling dealer. Features include:
- Power windows, locks, brakes, steering, and antenna
- Sliding rear cargo cover
- Roof panel tie-down straps

- Manual remote mirrors
- Tilt and telescoping steering column

INTERIOR - GAUGES
An 85-mph speedometer and a 7K-rpm tachometer are located ahead of the driver. The center stack includes a clock and gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, voltage, and oil pressure. The odometer reads 48,351 miles, which the selling dealer states to be accurate and original.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by an L48 350ci V8 with a four-carrel carburetor and backed by a four-speed manual transmission. Output is reported to be 190 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Corvette was factory-equipped with a four-wheel independent suspension and a rear drive axle. An exhaust system with a single catalytic converter and dual outlets exits at the rear. Braking is provided by power discs. According to the selling dealer, new brake calipers and bushings have been installed.

Thank you very much for your kind words regarding this C3 and the C3 in general. Having been a Corvette lover myself for decades, I enjoy them all! I personally watched two C3 Pace Cars go for over 100K with the bidders fee at the Mecum Kissimmee Auction. One with 7 miles and the other with 127 miles. About time the C3's get some love :). I've got one with 1900 miles that was perfectly preserved with the undercarriage even looking new. Maybe we'll give that one a try on AutoHunter!!! I would personally like to thank everyone for their bids, questions, and viewing this auction. I know we're getting close to the end and we still have a way to hit the reserve. If you take a look at some of the same cars that sold at the Mecum Auction and their condition, I can guarantee you that this Corvette equals or exceeds virtually all of them. This is a car where everything works with the exception of the clock and no repairs are needed. Once you take delivery, the only thing that you have to do is adjust the seat and the mirrors and hit the road.
