1967 Pontiac Grand Prix Convertible

OVERVIEW

This one-year-only 1967 Pontiac Grand Prix convertible is one of 5,856 produced and is powered by a 400ci V8 backed by a three-speed automatic transmission. Power features include the windows, steering, brakes, locks, hide-away headlights, and convertible top. Additional features include color-matched rear wheel skirts, eight-lug wheels, an AM radio, bucket seats, and a center console. Finished in metallic light blue and equipped with a white convertible top over a "Pearl" white vinyl interior, this garage-kept Grand Prix is available now and comes with a black vinyl convertible top boot and a clear Minnesota title in the seller's name.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

The exterior is finished in metallic light blue. Features include chrome bumpers, hide-away headlights, a fender-mounted antenna, wheel well and rocker trim, a power-operated white convertible top with a glass rear window, and color-matched rear wheel skirts. EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of 14-inch eight-lug Pontiac wheels with chrome trim rings is wrapped in 215/75/14 Hankook Optimo whitewall radial tires.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The front bucket seats, rear seat, trim, and door panels are upholstered in "Pearl" white vinyl. Power features include the windows, steering, brakes, and locks. Additional features include woodgrain accents, a center console with a locking storage compartment and an automatic transmission shifter, a three-spoke steering wheel with a wood grip, and an AM radio. According to the seller, all power windows go up and down as they should individually but master window switch needs attention as it occasionally sticks.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

A 120-mph speedometer, a clock, and gauges for the fuel level and voltage are located ahead of the driver. With 500 miles added during current ownership, the odometer reads 37,803 miles, which the seller reports to be accurate.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a 400ci V8 and backed by a three-speed automatic transmission. A chrome air cleaner has been added. Two of the videos below show the car being driven.

UNDERCARRIAGE

This Grand Prix was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. Braking is provided by four-wheel power drums. A full-length dual exhaust system exits at the rear.
