OVERVIEW
This 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback 2+2 sends power from a 289ci V8 through a C4 three-speed automatic transmission to the rear wheels. Features include simulated woodgrain interior trim, folding rear seats, American Racing wheels, front disc brakes, power steering, and a dual exhaust system. Finished in Rangoon Red with white racing stripes over a black vinyl interior, this first-generation Mustang is available now and comes from the selling dealer with a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The Rangoon Red exterior is equipped with painted white racing stripes, chrome bumpers, bright trim, a driver-side mirror, rear quarter window louvers, and dual exhaust outlets.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
This Mustang Fastback sits on 15-inch American Racing Torq Thrust wheels wrapped in new 205/60 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The 2+2 cockpit comes equipped with power steering, black vinyl bucket front seats, folding rear seats, simulated woodgrain trim, an AM radio, and a center console with an automatic shifter. The selling dealer states that the horn does not work.

Behind the three-spoke steering wheel sits a 140-mph speedometer along with the coolant temperature, fuel level, oil pressure, and battery voltage gauges. The five-digit analog odometer reads 43,725 miles, but the actual mileage on the chassis is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Under the hood sits a 289ci V8 equipped an aftermarket chrome air cleaner and valve covers. It delivers its output to the road using a C4 three-speed automatic transmission. The selling dealer states the Mustang’s engine received new spark plugs, distributor, and spark plug wires as well as a cylinder compression check during its last service; all cylinders returned figures between 138 and 145 psi.
UNDERCARRIAGE
