OVERVIEW
This unmodified 1989 Ford Bronco II is a compact 4x4 sport-utility vehicle that has been in the western part of the country since new, powered by a 2.9-liter Cologne V6 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Equipment includes air conditioning, a push-button four-wheel drive system, all-weather floor mats, a center console, and power convenience options. Finished in white over a tan cloth interior, this Bronco II is now offered with a service manual, a clean CARFAX report, Oregon registration and tags valid through January of 2024, and a clear Oregon title in the seller’s name.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
This white Bronco II two-door retains its original equipment including chrome bumpers, dual black mirror caps, and a covered spare tire on a swing-away carrier at the rear.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Steel 15-inch wheels with polished trim rings are wrapped in tires with black sidewall lettering.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The interior is outfitted with tan cloth captain’s chairs up front with neutral-gradient patterned inserts, matched to a bench in the rear and coordinated with the center console, dash, door panels, and carpeting. Amenities include power windows, power door locks, air conditioning, tinted rear windows, all-weather floor mats, and a cover for the rear cargo area. As shown in the photo gallery to the right, there are some tears in the headliner material. The seller notes that the air conditioning needs to be recharged.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation includes an 85-mph speedometer, a 6K-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 9K miles, which reflects 109K actual miles driven, according to the seller. The true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The 2.9-liter Cologne V6 was rated at 140 horsepower and 170 lb-ft of torque when new. It was most recently serviced with an oil change in January of 2022, per the CARFAX report. Power is sent to all four wheels via a column-shifted four-speed automatic transmission, a push-button 4x4 system, and a dual-range transfer case.
UNDERCARRIAGE
The seller states that there is some surface rust on the undercarriage and barely noticeable surface rust on one of the quarter panels. Additional photos of the undercarriage are available in the gallery.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
This vehicle was previously sold on AutoHunter but is being relisted after the buyer backed out of the transaction through no fault of the seller. The CARFAX report shows no accidents or damage reported. A service manual and Oregon registration and tags valid through January of 2024 will be included with the sale.

@ctone777 – Hey there, what’s the number you’re looking for on this vehicle? Does the bronco have any problems with running? ...
Hi I meant to reply to you… just hit comment instead of reply… sorry. Have a great day!
Hi, the Bronco runs great. I don’t drive it very much because I have many other cars. She takes the mountain really well in the snow, all 4x4 push buttons work great. They are selling for big money on Bring a trailer. I am just asking a fair price. It’s a really cool truck that are getting really hard to find in this condition. I have not even done any paint waxing or anything to improve it. Thought about throwing some big tires on it and taking it up the mountain it will sell for big money. Just wanted to show it in it original state and it has not been abused or modified like most others. Thanks for looking.
