OVERVIEW
This 2007 Ford Mustang Shelby GT/SC performance coupe, CSM vehicle number 07SGT0260, has been driven 12,600 miles since new and was upgraded in 2010 at the Shelby American facility in Nevada with 20-inch forged aluminum wheels, a Baer braking system, auxiliary gauges, a special aerodynamic body treatment, and a supercharger. According to the seller, the Shelby modifications cost more than $22,000. Power from the Whipple-supercharged 4.6-liter Modular V8 is channeled through a five-speed manual transmission. Finished in black with silver striping over a two-tone black and gray leather interior, this fifth-generation Mustang is now offered with Shelby invoices, records, documentation, a clean CARFAX report, and a clear Kentucky title in the seller’s name.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
This Mustang coupe’s black exterior is accented with silver striping along with Shelby GT/SC branding. Features include a Shelby “Deep Draw” hood with retention pins, rear quarter panel scoops, a Shelby KR spoiler, sequential taillights, and a Borla dual exhaust system with Shelby Turbo mufflers. The seller notes that there are some scratches near the driver's door handle.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Satin black forged 20-inch wheels with Shelby-branded center caps are wrapped in Nitto NT555 Extreme ZR tires from 2011, sized 285/30 up front and 255/35 in the rear.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The cockpit is fitted with black and gray two-tone leather bucket seats up front, a bench in the rear, and a matching treatment for the door panels, center console, dash, and carpeting. Amenities include GT embroidery, carpeted floor mats, an AM/FM/CD audio system with a six-disc changer, air conditioning, remote keyless entry, a power-adjustable driver seat, cruise control, and a Shelby shift knob. Shelby GT interior upgrades include the shifter boot, emergency brake boot, and center armrest. A placard on the dashboard identifies this car as unit 07SGT0260.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation consists of a 140-mph speedometer, an 8K-rpm tachometer, and inset gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. Additional AutoMeter gauges on the center stack show the boost pressure, oil pressure, and fuel pressure. The digital odometer reads 12,600 miles. The last mileage figure of 12,258 miles on the CARFAX report is dated January 2022.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The 4.6-liter Modular V8 has an M-6066-M118 Whipple supercharger, a performance air intake, and an upgraded cooling system. According to the seller, output is 550 horsepower. Power is sent to the back wheels via a five-speed manual transmission, a Shelby aluminum driveshaft, and a 3.73 rear end.
UNDERCARRIAGE
Stopping power comes via four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes with Baer cross-drilled and slotted rotors and stainless steel lines.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
The CARFAX report shows a vehicle history in Florida and Kentucky that is free of accidents and damage. The sale includes Shelby invoices, records, and documentation.
To all bidders, thank you for your bids. The reserve is off, someone is going to take this baby home today. Good Luck!
It is just surface rust, nothing to worry about. Same thing as brake discs if they sit too long.
Good day, Question on the undercarriage: the differential and rear axle housing appear to be rusted - correct? Salt from KY roads? Thank you in advance for the response.
The carfax reports the car in FL and KY. Has only been titled in KY. My friend bought it from a FL dealer and then had it shipped to Shelby America in Vegas for the upgrades. When I bought the car it had 12,200 miles on it. I have only out 400 miles on it. My friend who originally bought the car when he passed away he left the car to his grandson. When the grandson came of age to drive it, his mother thought too powerful for a teenager so she sold it. This car is not a daily driver, it is too fast and powerful
Yes I believe the grill is a Shelby upgrade. The car was just washed right before the video was taken so those are water spots.
Are those water spots or what, that are on almost every panel of the body? have you tried rubbing them out? I've never seen that grille insert is that a Shelby upgrade Thanks, Cliff
Sometime this afternoon I will be posting a walk around video, a cold start video and an idling video.
I would like to thank all the bidders. As I mentioned previously mentioned, I don't need the money, I need the space in my garage for a car that I have ordered. I have decided to lower reserve. Someone is going to get a great car at a cheap price. Good Luck to all the bidders.
