This 1941 Dodge WD-21 pickup is finished in two-tone black and green over an original-style black and tan vinyl interior. Having undergone a full nut-and-bolt restoration to factory specifications, the Dodge pickup is powered by a 218ci Flathead inline-6 engine, paired to a 4-speed manual transmission. Features include a highly detailed engine bay, oak wood bed, and original heavy-duty wheels. Located in Phoenix, Arizona, this WD-21 is now offered by the selling dealer on a clean Arizona title.
Finished in factory-correct two-tone black and green, the WD-21 features a 9-foot bed with restored oak plank flooring. Additionally, the front-end design is outlined by a barrel-shaped base and V-shaped grille. The front and rear fenders are accentuated by embossed speed lines on the lower rears of each fender. A driver-side mounted windshield wiper is mounted above the windshield, and a single side mirror is mounted on the driver side door.
Six-lug factory heavy-duty Dodge wheels are finished in black and wrapped in Firestone blackwall tires. The braking system featured manual drums all around and was fully restored, along with the suspension system.
Inside, the bench seat is trimmed with factory-original heavy grain brown vinyl seating, while the headliner and interior panels are finished in black cowl board. The dash features original controls lights, choke, and throttle, while an aftermarket switch for turn signals installed on the steering column. A black rubber mat covers the floor and surrounds the shifter for the 4-speed manual transmission and parking brake lever.
The factory instrumentation includes a speedometer measuring speeds to 80-mph, along with readouts for fuel level, voltage, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. 52K miles are shown, though true mileage is unknown.
Under the hood sits the restored Dodge 218ci Flathead inline-6 engine, rated at 102-horsepower when new. The engine is finished in green and retains many factory correct components such as the 2-barrel carburetor, oil bath air cleaner, radiator, and exhaust manifold. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 4-speed manual transmission.
The underside was fully restored, with all components repainted or replated. Additional photos are available in the gallery.
