1971 Ford Bronco

OVERVIEW

This restored 1971 Ford Bronco received more than $8,000 in recent mechanical upgrades from the previous owner, according to the selling dealer. It is powered by a resealed 302ci V8 crate engine backed by a three-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Features include a Bimini top, 31-inch BFGoodrich tires, a cargo storage box, a RetroSound stereo, and several new parts. Finished in yellow and equipped with a black removable hardtop over a black and yellow vinyl interior, this first-generation Bronco is available now and comes from the selling dealer with service records and a clear title.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

During the restoration, the exterior was refinished in yellow. Features include black bumpers, hood pins, a hood scoop, fender flares, a new windshield, a driver-side mirror, a black removable hard top, and a Bimini top. A swing-away spare tire carrier with a black vinyl cover is mounted at the rear.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of black 15-inch aluminum wheels is wrapped in 31” x 10.50” BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO radial tires, which the selling dealer states are in excellent condition.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The front bucket seats and the rear seat are upholstered in black vinyl with yellow vinyl inserts. Features include a new dash pad; Rhino Linings material on the floors; manual windows, steering, and brakes; a center console with a locking storage compartment; a black padded roll bar; a RetroSound AM/FM stereo; and a tilt steering column with a three-spoke Lecarra steering wheel.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

A 100-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 77,246 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a 302ci V8 crate engine and backed by a three-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Engine bay features include black finned valve covers, an aluminum intake, an Edelbrock carburetor with an electric choke, a new aluminum radiator, a remanufactured brake master cylinder, a black open-element air cleaner, and white Hooker Competition headers. The selling dealer states that a complete engine seal kit, including gaskets, seals, timing cover, and front and rear main seals, has been installed.

UNDERCARRIAGE

This Bronco was factory-equipped with solid axles and part-time four-wheel drive. Braking is provided by manual front discs and rear drums. The custom exhaust exits at the rear through dual outlets.
