OVERVIEW
This 1965 Ford Mustang is powered by a blueprinted 347ci stroker V8 backed by a four-speed manual transmission. Features include power front Wilwood disc brakes, an HEI ignition, Rally-Pac gauges, a RetroSound AM/FM stereo, and fog lights. Finished in red with a white vinyl top over a white vinyl Pony interior, this first-generation Mustang is available now and comes from the selling dealer with a dynamometer printout and a clear Missouri title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The red exterior features chrome bumpers, GT-style fog lights, a hood scoop, dual mirrors, a white vinyl top, white side accent stripes, GT emblems, and dual exhaust outlets that exit through the rear valance. The selling dealer notes that there is one quarter-size rust bubble on the left-side rear quarter panel near the door.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of 14-inch five-spoke Cragar wheels is wrapped in 205/70 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The front bucket seats and the rear seat are upholstered in white Pony vinyl. Features include power brakes, manual steering, manual windows, deluxe door panels, a three-spoke steering wheel with a wood rim, a center console, and a RetroSound AM/FM stereo.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 140-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level, oil pressure, amps, and coolant temperature are located ahead of the driver. A Rally-Pac gauge set including a 6K-rpm tachometer and a clock is mounted to the steering column. An additional pair of gauges for the battery voltage and oil pressure is located under the dashboard. The odometer reads 30,360 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a blueprinted 347ci stroker V8 and backed by a four-speed manual transmission. Underhood features include new aluminum heads, chrome valve covers, an aluminum intake, an electronic ignition, a four-barrel carburetor with an electric choke, a black air cleaner, an export brace, and an aluminum radiator.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Mustang was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. The selling dealer states that this Mustang has a new front end. Braking is provided by power Wilwood front discs and rear drums.
